Anyone wishing to make an appointment please do get in touch, my diary is open, and I am very much looking forward to seeing you soon! πŸ˜ƒ

If, before you come to your appointment you should show any symptoms of Covid19, such as:

  • A recent onset of a new continuous cough

Then please do not attend your appointment, let me know as soon as possible and we can re-schedule it.

Appointments made are also subject to my own family remaining well.

Please note that there will be safety guidelines imposed for you to be able to enter my treatment room:

  • All shoes to be removed on entering the house and left in the hall.
  • Please only bring in the essential items you require.
  • Hand sanitiser that is in the hall is to be used before continuing to the treatment room.
  • You will be required to wear a face covering when entering our home and whilst in the treatment room.

Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update 2

Ladies

In light of the announcement made by the government tonight, it is with much sadness and a heavy heart that I must now temporarily close Legworks. In the 20+ years I have been working at home I have only ever had to close for a holiday and am completely devastated to have to do this now πŸ˜’. I feel it is important to protect the health or you all and that of my family. I would like to thank you all for your custom and loyalty and look forward the welcoming you all back for treatments and a good old natter just as soon as we can.

At this time I am unsure of how long I will remain closed but I will update you with information as we know more. I will start to contact all of you over the next few days that may not be on social media and see this post. This is an extremely hard time for small business owners, so please continue to support us all when you can.

I am extremely grateful for all those who are working incredibly hard to protect us from this pesky virus.

I will remain active on social media so if you just want a chat or a catch up feel free to message me. Look after yourselves and your families, stay well and keep safe!

Take care and see you all soon.

Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update

Good morning Ladies, with all of the things going on at the moment I just wanted to reassure all my clients that I am planning to stay open as normal all the time I am able or until government guidelines advise otherwise. I will continue to keep my treatment room cleaned to the usual high standards as well as continuing to clean key areas regularly. I have hand sanitizer available, should you wish to use it please let me know.

If you feel unwell or have travelled to any of the infected areas, please do contact me to rearrange your appointment. This is to protect all of my other clients and also myself and my family.

Please do try to continue to support all of your small and local businesses through these tough and challenging times.

Summer Closure

Why Sugaring?

Some things you might like to know . . .

Sugaring is long-lasting, gentle on the skin and a natural alternative to other hair removal processes.

With regular use of Sugaring paste the hair growth diminishes.

Sugaring paste is simply made from sugar, water and lemon juice with no harmful chemicals. Wax contains resins, preservatives and petrochemicals.

Sugaring paste is heated gently and checked by the practitioner. Wax must be heated to a higher temperature to melt. This heat can cause swelling on the skin, potentially causing scarring and burns.

Sugaring paste is water soluble, it therefore dissolves easily in water so leaves no sticky residue on the skin. Wax requires chemical solvents to remove residues.

Sugaring paste does not stick to live skin cells, it only removes dead skin cells (therefore exfoliating). This means less discomfort for you and less trauma to the skin. Wax adheres directly to live skin cells which is painful and can cause irritation.

Why not book your appointment now and see for yourself! ?
